About Us

About Eco Trade Limited

Eco Trade Limited is a manufacturer and global exporter of eco-friendly bags, headquartered in Khulna, Bangladesh — one of the world's leading jute-producing regions. For over a decade, we have partnered with importers, retailers, and private-label brands across 40+ countries to deliver bags that meet international quality standards at competitive factory-direct prices.

Our journey began with a simple mission: to connect the rich heritage of natural fiber craftsmanship with the growing global demand for sustainable products. What started as a small jute bag workshop has grown into a fully integrated manufacturing facility that handles every stage of production — from raw material sourcing to final stitching, quality inspection, and export packaging.

Today, we operate a 25,000-square-foot production facility with over 150 skilled workers, producing more than 2 million bags annually across five product lines. Our clients range from independent retailers and boutique brands to large multinational importers and promotional product distributors.

Our Story

From a Small Workshop to a Global Exporter

Eco Trade Limited was founded in 2013 in Khulna, the heart of Bangladesh's jute industry. The region produces some of the finest natural jute fiber in the world, and our founders — who grew up surrounded by jute fields and weaving traditions — saw an opportunity to bring this natural material to international markets in the form of high-quality, durable bags.

In our early years, we focused exclusively on jute shopping bags for local and regional export. As demand grew and international buyers began requesting different materials, designs, and customization options, we expanded our capabilities. We added leather goods production, cotton and canvas tote manufacturing, and non-woven promotional bag lines to serve a wider range of wholesale buyers.

A pivotal moment came in 2017, when we invested in a larger facility and modernized our production lines. This allowed us to increase capacity, improve consistency, and take on larger orders from major retailers and importers. We also established a dedicated quality control team and implemented multi-stage inspection protocols that have since become a cornerstone of our reputation.

By 2020, we had expanded our export operations to cover 40+ countries across five continents. We built relationships with trusted freight forwarders, streamlined our export documentation process, and began offering full container load (FCL) shipments to major ports worldwide. Today, we continue to grow — adding new materials, refining our processes, and investing in our workforce — while staying true to our founding commitment to quality and sustainability.

Our Mission & Values

What Drives Us Every Day

Our Mission

To be the most reliable and trusted manufacturing partner for wholesale bag buyers worldwide — delivering consistent quality, competitive pricing, and dependable delivery on every order, while upholding ethical labor practices and environmental responsibility.

Our Vision

We envision a global supply chain where sustainable, naturally sourced bags replace single-use plastics — and where buyers can source directly from manufacturers with full transparency, fair pricing, and confidence in product quality.

Core Values

  • Quality without compromise. Every bag we produce goes through multi-stage quality inspection. We do not ship anything we would not accept ourselves.
  • Sustainability in practice. We prioritize natural, biodegradable materials and low-waste production. Our jute and cotton products are designed to last for years, not minutes.
  • Transparency and honesty. We communicate openly about timelines, pricing, and challenges. No hidden costs, no vague promises.
  • Fair labor practices. We provide safe working conditions, fair wages, and skill development for all our workers. Our facility is regularly audited for compliance.
  • Long-term partnerships. We are not interested in one-off transactions. We invest in relationships — many of our clients have been with us for 5+ years and place recurring orders.
Sustainability

Responsible Manufacturing at Every Step

We believe that responsible manufacturing is not optional — it is essential. Every bag we produce is designed to minimize environmental impact while maximizing durability and functionality. Our jute and cotton products are 100% biodegradable, our leather is sourced as a by-product of the food industry, and our production processes prioritize low waste and energy efficiency.

Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond materials. We have implemented waste-reduction programs in our cutting and stitching departments, where fabric remnants are collected and repurposed into smaller items or recycled. We use water-based, non-toxic inks for screen printing, and our packaging options include recycled and recyclable materials.

By choosing Eco Trade Limited as your manufacturing partner, you are supporting a supply chain that values fair labor practices, sustainable sourcing, and long-term environmental stewardship. We work closely with our material suppliers to ensure traceability and ethical standards at every step — from the jute fields to the final stitched product.

We also believe that sustainability and quality go hand in hand. A well-made, durable bag that lasts for years is inherently more sustainable than a cheap bag that needs to be replaced after a few uses. This is why we invest in skilled labor, quality materials, and robust construction methods — so that every bag we produce serves its owner for as long as possible.
